- Press and hold the Power, Home, and Menu buttons simultaneously
- Maintain pressure until the reset screen appears (approximately 10 seconds)
- Select "Factory Reset" from the available options

Important note: A factory reset will restore the remote to its original settings, removing all customized programming and configurations.
If your remote becomes completely unresponsive, you can perform a manual power cycle:
- Remove the battery
- Wait 30 seconds
- Reinsert the battery
